This study aimed to describe how Altman Z-Score methods and Risk Based Bank Rating methods to assessing the health of banks listed on BEI in 2012-2014 and how comparison between Altman Z-Score methods and RBBR methods to assessing the health of banks. The sample used in this study are Mandiri , BRI and BNI. When using the RBBR method to assessing the health of banks author use ROA, and NIM ratio to assess aspects of bank capital and ratio CAR ratio to assess aspects of bank earning. The analytical tool used to test the hypothesis in this study is normality test Kolmogorov-Smirnov and different test Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results from this study are currently using the Altman Z –score method three banks categorized less healthy because the value Z < 2,99 whereas when using RBBR method three banks is considered very healthy because the results of ROA, NIM and CAR ratio exceeding the bank health criteria set by BI. The next result shows that there are differences in bank health assessment results when using the Altman Z –Score method and RBBR method.
