This research entitled Effect of Macroeconomic Variables on the profitability of Islamic Bank. This study aimed to analyze the effect of each of the macro variables on the profitability of Islamic Banking in Indonesia. The population used for this study is the Islamic Bank whose financial statements have been published by Bank Indonesia from 2004 to 2014. For sampling in this study using purposive sampling, and obtained as much as ten Islamic Banks. This research data using secondary data from the website of each bank and Bank Indonesia (BI), the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that inflation and exchange rates did not affect the profitability of Islamic Bank, gross domestic product (GDP) had significant influence with positive direction on profitability of Islamic Bank, and interest rates had significant influence with negative direction on profitability of Islamic Bank.
