This exploratory study aims to determine the career path of women executives in the hospitality industry in Yogyakarta, advancing the careers of employees in the hospitality industry in Yogyakarta, and challenges any faced by women executives in a career in the hospitality industry Yogyakarta that will affect the lives of career they. This study using in-depth interviews and observations are supported by secondary data from company and journal documents. The result of this research is the discovery of a picture of the hospitality industry in Yogyakarta in terms of hotel classification, the number of hotels, etc. And to know the process of career women who are able to enter the executive level and it only produces 10% figure as a representative figure. The study also proved that the number of women workers in the hospitality industry Yogyakarta is around 30% which means that a woman has not been able to master the hospitality industry in Yogyakarta, which was caused by the Glass Ceiling (Work Family Conflict, existence of negative stereotypes about women working in the industry Yogyakarta hospitality, etc.). As well as the company's efforts in facilitating its employees to develop their careers by creating programs such as training, consul, or send them back to a higher level.
