This research was entitled Young Cadre During Transition: Amanah, Simple, Serve, Motivate (Case Study of Ms. Warsiti.s (IW) Leadership in Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta). The goals of this research were to know: 1) the process of IW becoming a leader; 2) the leadership of IW as a director of STIKES 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta; 3) the organizational development of STIKES 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta; and 4) the barriers and challenges faced by IW. The main object of this study was Ms. Warsiti, the director of STIKES 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. This research used qualitative method with case study that sourced from indepth interviews, observation, and documentation. To determine the validity and authenticity of data, used triangulation test, transferability test, and member check. Methods of data analysis used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This research found that the leadership of IW was influenced by the social environment and and individual factors. IW.s leadership is resemble to transformational approach which the motivation factor that inspire and intellectual stimulation were more prominent. In organizational development aspect, IW motivated the change by executing strategic plans that have been made through the values implementation espoused by STIKES 'Aisyiyah. While the barrier was not a problem for IW, but the challenges that faced by IW were a double workload, the age factor was the psychological pressure load while leading at a young age, and the challenge of external parties to be able to compete with other universities.
