The increasing age of women, many changes occur in the body functions physically as well as psychologically. Physical and psychological changes that women experience menopause due to hormonal changes. Physical and psychological changes experienced when it anticipation with a good knowledge of menopause then it will improve the quality of life for women. Objective : To determine the relationship of the level of education and knowledge about menopause in women aged 45-60 years. Methods : This study using cross sectional method, the design of a study of the dynamics of the correlation between the risk factor and effect. with the approach of observation and data collection in the field at any one time at the same cross-sectional. The research location at Ambowetan village, Ulujami Subdistrict, Pemalang districts. Total population of 37 and the number of respondents who participated in research by 30 respondents, this research studied the correlation of the level of education and knowledge about menoupouse in women aged 45-60 years, by observing and collecting data by questionnaire as a measuring tool, which is measured at same time. Education and knowledge are taken and analyzes simultaneously on individuals. Results: Based on data analysis has been done on 30 respondents, shows that there is no statistical relationship between the level of knowledge about menoupause to the educational level of women aged 45-60 years in the Ambowetan Village, Ulujami, pemalang, with a value of p = 0.07 ( p> 0.05). showed that most respondents 24 people (80%) had knowledge about menopause high with a score 19 until 27, and respondents who have high knowledge scores, as many as 18 respondents (60%) had a low educational level. Conclusion: Based on these results it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the level of education on knowledge about menopause in women aged 45-60 years in RT 01 RW 01, Ambowetan Ulujami Pemalang.
