The research of methylene blue waste water treatment has been done by using rice husk activated carbon (RHAC) powder. The research was doing by activated husk at 400 0C in the furnace. Activated carbon from rice husk preparation results are used as a material for treating waste methylene blue. In this study was also conducted and the time variation of the weight of activated charcoal, namely 5, 15 and 30 minutes and the weight variation of activated charcoal rice husk 3 grams, 5 grams and 7 grams. Then to see the results using UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results showed that the analysis of methylene blue 20 ppm with variations on the best time of 60 minutes and variations of activated charcoal in these studies as much as 7 grams.
