Pra Rancangan Pabrik Sodium Styrene Sulfonat Dari 2-Bromo Ethyl Benzene Kapasitas 10.000 Ton/ Tahun
Abstract
Preliminary design of sodium styrene sulfonat with capacity 10.000 ton/year is plant to be built in Cilegon Banten, in the area of land 12.625 m2. This chemical plant will be operated for 330 day/year or 24 hours a day with 130 employees.
Raw material neededs is C8H9Br 1,3681 ton/hour, S03 1,1454 ton/hour and NaOH 0,47952 ton/hour. The production process will be operated at temperature 50 and 75°C, at pressure about of 1,2 and 1 atm using Continuous Stirred Tank Reaktor (CSTR) with yield 90 % . The utiliy consist of 38.169,8447 kg/hour of cooling water; 1479,1667 kg/hour of housing water;886,6557 kg/hour of steam;15,3102 Lt/hour of Industrial Diesel Oil (!DO); 15,3102 Lt/hour of fuel oil while the power of electricity of about 296,3415 Kwh provided by PLN This chemical plant also use generator set as reserve.
An economic analysis shows thats this chemical plant need to be covered by fixed capital of about Rp 57.181.749.309,93; working capital of about Rp 9.459.788.044,85. The profit before tax is Rp 33.097.384.636,68, while the profit after tax is Rp. 15.886.744.625.61. Percentage of return of investement (ROI) before tax is 39,5457 % while after tax is 18,9819 %Pay out time (POT) before tax is 2,0183 years while after tax is 3,4504 years. The value of break evek point (BEP)for about 51,73 % and shut down point (SDP) of about 27,09 %. Based on the economic analysis, It is concluded that plant design of Amyl Acetate with capacity 10.000 ton/years visible to be built.
