Evaluasi Desain Interior Perkantoran Kajian Fungsi, Teknik, dan Perilaku Studi Kasus: Kantor Grapari Telkomsel Yogyakarta
Abstract
GraPARi is the branch office of Telkomsel for Yogyakarta serving customers'
needs and also as the operational office of Telkomsel in Yogyakarta. Accordina'to trie
users' role in the building , there are 2 groups of building users, they are customers and
officers. The officer group consists of Front-officer (QuickTservice, Customer Service, and
Cashier officer) and Back-officer (regular officers and supervisors). Each of the building
user occupies different area, in general, there are 2 main space at the office Front office
and Back office. The front office consists of Quick Service area for Quick Service officer
Customer service area for Customer Service officers, Cashier area for Cashier officer
and waiting area for customers. While the open planned-system-back office consists of
regular officers and supervisors' workstations area.
The facts above led to the conclusion that each area of GraPARi need to be
architecturally designed in a properorder of space and furniture system in conformity with
the function of each area Since those regulations will affect the users' behavior of each
area, therefore,the existing Interior system condition of GraPARi need to be evaluated
with regard to the users' behavior
The research evaluates the existing interior system condition of GraPARi In 3
design aspects: functional aspectiworkstations' dimension and space configuration''.
technical aspect (noise control, lighting intensity, and color guide for space and
furniture), and behavioral aspect (environment perception and cognition).
Research variables, as it already mentioned above, consists of 3 design aspects
(functional, technical, and behavioral aspect). Data collection utilized by soundlevel
meter, lightmeter, questionaire, and computer Sampling's taken from 50% of average
number of customers visiting GraPARi per day (because of the small population). The
research used descriptive analysis method It's the method used to describe a temporary
condition while the research Is being held.
Analysis process of the research includes the comparative study between
standards and existing condition of which was led to the design recommendations. And in
order to be objective, the research also will be supported by the questionnaire's result
The analysis discussion will be divided according to ihe 3 aspects (functional, technical,
and behavioral).
The recommendation consists of results of the analysis which becomes the
design guidelines for ideal GraPARi office.
